Jason Farrant

Jason Farrant is a change agent who has experience in starting, growing, and improving the profitability, performance, and value of organizations. His range of skills include multiple business functions coupled with the ability to easily build relationships and interface with all intermediaries – employees, customers, competitors, and stakeholders. He excels at building cohesive, energetic teams that are motivated to exceed objectives. He is persistent in finding ways to overcome obstacles, move initiatives forward, and get

the job done. Jason’s approach to business and his colleagues is direct, practical, analytical, and solutions driven.

Prior to developing the Mammoth Fieldhouse, Jason led franchise development for GreatLIFE Golf & Fitness where he oversaw the organization’s growth from seven locations to 72 across the Midwest. Jason graduated from University of Kansas with his Master of Business Administration.



EXECUTIVE VP OF OPERATIONS

Bill Crooks

Bill Crooks is a University of Kansas graduate who spent eight years with Gilbert/Robinson before founding his own restaurant group; PB&J. For more than 20 years, Crooks was the driving force behind the entity’s creative new concepts and opened more than 35 restaurants in two decades. Simultaneously, he also became one the largest Red Robin franchise owners at that time.

After selling his share of PB&J, Crooks went on to create Good Food Good Futures (GFGF). Bringing collaborative expertise from the farm, food retailing, information technology and healthcare, GFGF innovates practical

solutions to improve health outcomes of employees and patients through increased health literacy and nutrition information exchange.

He has served on the executive committee for the American Royal, as a board member for the Food Conservatory, and is a current board member of the Texas State Restaurant Association. Crooks’ most recent endeavor has been the creation of Chicken N Pickle, a wildly popular indoor/outdoor destination that combines delicious, locally-sourced food with America’s fastest growing sport – pickleball.

 

EXECUTIVE VP OF DEVELOPMENT

Tanner Micheli

Tanner Micheli is a non-stop, high-energy personality who is passionate about excelling in all areas of life. His competitiveness, work ethic, and do-whatever-it-takes mentality always forces the best out of him. Micheli is “totally stoked” to now be part of the Fieldhouse team, as he comes from a hard-working, blue-collar upbringing. He was first introduced to the game of golf in high school when he landed a job at the local country club, and it has been part of his life ever since!

Prior to Mammoth Fieldhouse, Micheli was the Director of Real Estate Development for Topgolf, leading more than $1 billion in development projects across the US & UK. One of his proudest accomplishments is leading the vision, design, and development for Topgolf El Segundo, the company’s first venue + green grass golf experience.

 

 

 

 

 

OWNER

Jim Klausman

Jim Klausman has been President and CEO of Midwest Health since 1977. He received his BA in Political Science from Washburn University, Topeka, in 1974. Klausman has been a licensed adult care administrator since 1974 and has served as administrator of several of the company’s facilities. He is currently responsible for all company operations. Midwest Health now has 65 facilities in five states. Klausman has also served as President of the Kansas Health Care Association, the industry’s largest trade association, in 1979 and again in 2007-2008 and has previously served as the Chairman of the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce. In addition to owning numerous properties and

restaurants in Topeka, Lawrence, and Kansas City, Klausman is the driving force behind Wheatfield Village at SW 29th and Fairlawn in Topeka. The development is home to the Wheatfield 9 Theater by B&B Theaters, Johnny’s Tavern, PT’s Coffee, and SPIN! Pizza. Klausman also holds a majority interest in GreatLIFE Golf and Fitness, which recently merged with Brown Golf. This partnership creates one of the largest golf holding and management entities in the country. The GreatLIFE brand, which retained its name going forward, now boasts a collective portfolio of 72 golf courses, as well as 25 fitness centers and a bowling center.

Jake Farrant

Jake Farrant is the founder and CEO of Mammoth Companies. He represents a classic American entrepreneurial story, growing the company from humble roots in his mother’s garage, into a sports juggernaut ranking #692 on the Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing, privately held companies. Through the company’s growth, Farrant has been the driving force setting the tempo for culture, leadership, and excellence. He has a knack for hiring the right people, making strategic investments, and maintaining a relentless focus on performance.

Farrant leads his company with the competitiveness he learned on the athletic field as a collegiate player and high school coach. The leadership skills he developed through sports have translated to a relentless focus on execution which has led NFL and collegiate teams to entrust their facilities to Mammoth’s expertise. Farrant values family and, alongside his brother Bryce (Mammoth’s President), is committed to maintaining a family-centric work environment where his employees proudly wear the Mammoth logo on their chest.
